We are strategic, business focused and practical, with extensive workshop, laboratory and studio facilities.

As a medical device development agency, we offer a genuinely end-to-end service, beginning often with just an intent and extending to production setup, certification and product launch. Our quality systems are mature and audited to LRQA to ISO 13485.

Our Journey So Far

2002

WE STARTED AS PRODUCT DESIGN CONSULTANCY

Back then, there were few prospects for recent graduates to innovate in the design industry. In addition to wanting to support the Scottish design sector, we wanted to produce unique and innovative products. The next logical step was to develop our own design consultancy in order to expand beyond the scope of our own production and design.

2006

LONG TERM CLIENT SECURED

We landed a big contract with a global sub-sea and engineering company. It was an exciting opportunity and the start of a long-term relationship with the client.In collaboration with JFD, we created a variety of gadgets and equipment for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) that will be provided to the Spanish Navy.

2020

GLOBAL PANDEMIC AND HYBRID WORK

Due to the global pandemic, 2020 was a challenging year for many businesses. To ensure that we could meet the needs of the clients, we had to figure out how to collaborate and adapt to a remote work environment. As a result, we were able to begin our client's international expansion by hiring talented individuals from throughout the UK. Due to our long-standing connections with suppliers and manufacturers and the long-term client we attracted in North America, our team prospered during the lockdown, and the number of projects we were working on expanded. To match the present market, we evolved, adjusted, and developed our company strategy.

2022

MATURITY AND GROWTH

As a result of years of focusing on the medical device sector, we have matured our quality systems, built a strong network, and have a clientele that is both diverse and fascinating. To stay on top of industry trends and regulatory measures, we are actively upgrading our facilities, improving our quality management software and increasing internal training opportunities. Our most recent collaboration with GreenLight Guru displays our steadfast commitment to providing our clients with true quality while developing their medical products.
